Two solutions will work for this. #1 Try disabling auto-mute. #2 Install an updated driver: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1PNid=24PFid=24Level=4Conn=3DownTypeID=3GetDown=false I did #1 and it's fine for me now. Mind you, I use Arch Linux with ALSA. -- You
