The Ubuntu Kernel Team is planning to move to the 2.6.27 kernel for the
upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would
appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.
There are one of two ways you should be able to test:
1) If you are comfortable
I have exactly the same problem using Feisty and a Thinkpad 60p. Here is
the relevant output from syslog, atigetsysteminfo output and lspci -
output.

Looks like it is not limited to T60 - the same occures on my T43, please
see attachment ;-( It does not happen very often, but it is very
annoying since You never know if Your laptop will sleep/wake up without
problems...

I have just had a crash with the same message (same model laptop),
although suspend usually works without any problems. The system went
down for a normal suspend, then came back up again. I tried to suspend
again and the system hung (still running) with the little sleep light
blinking.
