I seems to have the same problem in Intrepid, after updating the service
pack my wireless icon is now stuck at the right most side of panel and I
can't move it to the left.

I am unsure how to take a screenshot. If informed how I'll gladly do it.
The standard method of moving any panel icon is to right click on it and
click move. This option is not available for this icon. Thus I now have
a huge gap surrounding my wireless icon, which looks rather odd!
