I reported the bug. I didn't try it in gutsy, because I did an upgrade
without reinstalling, but I did install hardy from scratch, and the
wireless worked flawlessly!

application?, as Brian mention i do also think this was solved some time ago,
could you please try to reproduce this using the live environment of the
Desktop CD of the development release - Hardy Heron.
