+ version Hotot in Ubuntu uses this old API and hence logging in to

Thank you for your reply. This issue appears to be caused by Twitter's
change in its API on June 11th. The status of Hotot's PPA (ppa:hotot-
team/ppa )is a bit unclear but it should solve this issue. I can confirm
that the v. 0.9.8.14 in the PPA solves the issue. Ubuntu 13.10 also has
v. 0.9.8.14 i

the exact same issue.
