Hi, folks:
I've been able to confirm both that it's a 64-bit problem, and that the
proposed fix returns the application to a runnable state. I'm running
FC7 on a 4-way AMD Opteron 64 (I know, I know, it's overkill for
Monsterz, but I've got to have something to do while the builds are
running...
A quick fix for monsterz on amd64 systems is to comment out lines 112
and 133.

I can confirm this on an up-to-date gutsy amd64 system. The sources
build locally, but the resulting binaries continue to exhibit the
problem even after rebuild.

compiled.

at work, 32 bit machine also with Kubuntu 7.04, and it worked there
