well, thats an old ubuntu problem, with an easy solution.
why wasn't it fixed yet? i duuno..... :P

any agere ethernet card just won't work
the model name is et131x
and there is a solution
i don't know why it wasn't integrated into the system yet.

its just so annoying to try and install it, trying to get the driver on the 
computer, WITHOUT ANY INTERNET CONNECTION !!!!!! :)

anyway's, it will be nice if it happened automaticly..... after all
thats what ubuntu is all about . no?
