Now that the 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon release of Ubuntu is out, can anyone

Ah, thanks for the additional information. I have 2 batteries, and I
notices that under some circumstances, the 2nd battery is not shown
properly. However, I haven't figured out yet under which circumstances
this happens.
