Since there has been no activity with this bug for since June 2007, I am

It seems weird it is not official after all it was the default choice
after installation. anyway as i already said the problem was fixed by
choosing the default server and than the israeli server again. so i
can't give you the exact message but it's the ordinary message that
appears in synaptic whe
Sadly, there are no official Ubuntu archive mirrors in Israeli.
To avoid such problems in future, you may like to consider using only
Ubuntu official mirrors. A full list can be found here:
