Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v3.10 kernel[0].

If the mainline kernel does not fix
I was not able to boot the 3.10-rc7 kernel -- the kernel wouldn't even
start to boot (i.e. black screen after grub -- no activity).
I was able to boot the mainline 3.9.8 kernel (from
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.9.8-saucy/) and had the
exact same results. I will mark as
