To manage
I've updated the system and got a new kernel
$ uname -a
Linux bobby 3.10.0-6-generic #17-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jul 26 18:29:23 UTC 2013 x86_64
x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
The problem is seems to be fixed.

Hi, I've tried the following kernel Linux bobby 3.10.0-031000-generic

and it behaves the same.
