Public bug reported: After upgrading Audacious to version 3.4 from Webupd8 ppa, with ALSA output I cannot obtain gapless playing anymore: a gap appears now at the end of every track. I also noticed that the larger is the buffer, the more the gap's lenght increases. With the default buffer of 500 ms the gap is about a second or less; with greater buffers, it's about several seconds. Switching to PulseAudio output, the issue disappears at all!
I'm running Audacious on Ubuntu 13.04 with 64 bit architecture. ** Affects: audacious (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: alsa audacious gap gapless raring -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1198432 Title: Audacious 3.4 no gapless playing with ALSA output To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/audacious/+bug/1198432/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
