do you mean alsa-pulse plugin since maximum buffer size of snd-hda-intel
driver in 13.04 is 64Kbytes (0.375 second) ?

But... I configured Audacious tou use ALSA bypassing PulseAudio and
sending the output directly to the soundcard. Why alsa-pulse?
