I see from the logs:

I tried with the new xorg.conf, the problem still exists:at the
beginning, the output will be shown at TV, but after ubuntu start up, it
will be changed back to the CRT

In BIOS, if I set "Video Configuration -> IGD - Boot Type" as TV only, then
there will be no any output on TV after Xwindow start. if I set as CRT+TV+LFP,
then the system will boot from CRT and then swith to TV after Xwindow start.
we think it still a issue.

I tried on the Gusty tribe 2 which use intel 2.0.0, it still doesn't work.
about the TV out, I am using integrated TV out, composite, and auto(I tested by
using PAL and NTSC, got the same failure result)
- the result for 'xrandr --output TV --auto' is:
xrandr: cannot find crtc for output TV.

like this is very much under active development. I do not think it can
be supported on Feisty with the 1.9.94 -intel driver. It might work on

Unfortunately, the lspci output shows only "Unknown device 7270". In
order to report this upstream, I need to known the exact model # of the

Hmm, it sounds like the TV out works ok with the framebuffer but not
with X for some reason.
Please attach /etc/X11/xorg.conf, /var/log/Xorg.0.log after attempting
to display on the TV, and the output from lspci -vvm.
