The amd64+mac Alternate image seems fixed too in the 20130725 build. It
finds both network interfaces and asks which one to choose.

Even if the packages during the initial installation come from the
CD/DVD/USB drive, it is important that the net work on the first try.
If nothing else, it shows that the installation will not be for nothing
and that there will be functioning network upon completion. Without
that initial confirma
I prefer that the system actually reads from the alternate ISO, installs
from the ISO and then on reboot sees the internet. This goes back to
when you could use an alternate ISO to upgrade a release.
