What graphic card do you have ? maybe your memory ram needs some test ?
Try with memtest+ that happears on grub menu at computer boot.

I have a Nvidia 6200, PCI-E card. I did run a memtest+ for around 3
hours or so, which went on without any errors. But asince it was taking
so long, i rebooted after that. Plus other OS's work
