Public bug reported:

powerd is the name of an already existing binary package in Debian. I guess it 
wasn't noticed since it's part of freebsd-utils which 
was apparently never really in Ubuntu.

This could be a problem if this package is ever submitted for inclusion
in Debian. And it's just confusing if someone tries to Google for more
information or troubleshooting a problem and just assumes that FreeBSD
is upstream, not Canonical.
