I am getting this error message
$ debuild
debuild: fatal error at line 897:
problem running fakeroot: either install the fakeroot package,
use a -r option to select another root command program to use or
run me as root!
Suggesting to run as root is a bad idea. Devscripts should pull in
fakeroot
