actually figured wrong before).

My bug is related to 118745 - it is just that the font is too BIG w/the new
settings, rather than too small. Changing the DPI from the real screen DPI
(which should work) to 96 makes the fonts tolerable, but they are still
quite big. I think this tends to happen on some screen geometries, and

GNOME started to use the xorg dpi value rather than coding 96 in gutsy,
if the value is wrong it's due to xorg or a duplicate of bug #118745
