Please wait for the 3.0.1-2 release which fixes building. 3.0.1-1 will
only build on i386 and amd64. This should worry Ubuntu anyway, since you

The Debian Import Freeze (which stops automatic syncs from Debian)
happened on February 6th, but the Feature Freeze (which essentially
prohibits new upstream feature releases unless for good reason) isn't
until the 20th. I'll sync this manually after I verify that it builds
locally.

AFAIK imports from Debian have already stopped for 14.04. So the updated
package won't be available before Ubuntu 14.10.

The package is directly copied from Debian. It was orphaned in Debian
(see http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=733145) in
December 2013. The best way to get a new version into Ubuntu would
probably be to get someone to adopt the package in Debian.
