Public bug reported:

Odd bug involving suspend on a Dell Latitude X1:

If I hit the suspend button, the laptop goes into suspend as it should.
Usually at this point I close the lid, and when I open the lid it comes
out of suspend, I type in my password, and everything's good to go.

However, if I don't close the lid on the laptop, and then wake it from
suspend by pressing the power button, when it comes out of suspend the
mouse doesn't work and typing on the keyboard doesn't put anything in
the password field. However, I can still use the keyboard to go back
into suspend, and then I can bring it out of standby by closing and
opening the lid, and then everything works again.

** Affects: Ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
