At first I just restarted unity, then I got some weird bugs and I think
bamfdaemon crashed. I rebooted my computer and it is still there. Using
the proposed libindicator7 version 12.10.2+13.10.20130913-0ubuntu2.

I only had problems with the sound indicator. All other indicators
updated fine. The update in proposed fixed it for me, too. The
versioning scheme of libindicator seems odd, though.

Lars looked at it and said it's not an issue with the indicator but with
unity/compiz, the panel syncing stop working sometimes

I cannot recreate the situation where I have audio while the panel sound
indicator displays a muted icon. As far as I can tell, the indicator
icon always represents the correct state of system audio.
I have however, seen a desynchronisation between the tick next to the
Mute label within the sound
