Public bug reported: To reproduce: 1. install current gutsy 2. install xserver-xephyr 3. in a terminal window, as a normal user, say startx -- /usr/bin/Xephyr :1 4. Observe a Xephyr window open and then disappear. There are some error messages on stdout/err and a crash dump in /var/crash.
