Do we know if libkxl is still actively maintained by the Debian Games Team? Conversations about fixing this in Debian have been going on for several years, and there hasn't been any forward progress made on it. kxl hasn't been updated since late 2012, and the change from 1.1.7-14 to 1.1.7-16 only
