Binary package hint: gaim
Using Feisty and Gaim 2.0.0beta6 when I receive a new message I hear the sound
of the message but gaim freezes. 10 seconds later the new message appears and
Gaim continues normally. I send my response and the same story again for the
new message that arrives.
This happens with MSN and ICQ.
By restarting Gaim the problem is corrected but some time later it starts again.
