OK then; I suggest we close it. I have installed some things by hand
occasionally, and that might've confused the package system.

I can reproduce this if ppython-pgsql is uninstalled, but as soon as I
install it it works which I think is quite a normal behaviour... This
happens with every python-module packaged for me.

yes, but notice that it's the python2.4 interpreter. It works for me
with python2.5.
