Session restart worked, as worked through in #ubuntu-unity. I guess the
result was that we began to think that it was upower's fault somehow.

But it also works now with 7.1.2+13.10.20131014.1-0ubuntu1. So it's
possible a reboot/session restart is sufficient to fix this?
