Upgrading libgl1-mesa-dri and libgl1-mesa-glx to version 6.5.2-3ubuntu8 solved the problem (this of course, upgraded a whole bunch of dependent packages as well). libglu1-mesa and mesa-utils however remains to version 6.5.2-3ubuntu7.. [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ dpkg -l | grep mesa ii libgl1-mesa-dri

Please try updating to the mesa packages in http://people.ubuntu.com/~kyle/crestline-mesa/ which should fix things for you. The most important packages would be: libgl1-mesa-dri libgl1-mesa-glx libglu1-mesa mesa-utils Cheers, Kyle -- Enabling compiz or beryl hangs Inspiron 1420n
