This is not a Compiz issue as it is binding the keys correctly. Rather,
this is a decision by Gnome to introduce new keyboard shortcuts for
switching workspaces that is not compatible with Compiz. What

The problem is incorrect key bindings for going up and down with the window.
Move window Up: shiftsuperprior
Move window Down: shiftsupernext
The solution is:
Install CCSM
sudo apt-get
Thanks so much Gustavo!!! Fixing the shortcuts did the trick!. Just in
case I clicked the button that reset the default behavior to fix this...

I can verify the bug. Moving windows with the shortcut to the left /
right works, up / down doesn't.

It's only window movement that doesn't work... Ctrl-Alt-Cursor-Down/Up
works ok

As Dvanzo says, it only affects window movement... i'm new with ubuntu.
