You have been subscribed to a public bug: The close button in the HUD has been removed.
I asked for any reasoning behind this on the mailing list and got no response, now I'm assuming this to be a regression. It's really inconvenient to close the current app and drop back to the previous without this. For example: Reading through twitter using friends, I click a link and a browser opens. If I now want to close the browser and return to friends, I must navigate back to the apps scope, do the fiddly long press thing to close the browser, navigate to another scope and back to the apps scope (to discard the close buttons), then tap friends. All I want to do is click the quit button, which should close the browser and immediately take me back to friends. Note: I have seen a quit item in the HUD for notes-app, so maybe the design was changed to put quit as a menu item instead of a button? If this is the case, it's still necessary to make sure the quit item is available in every app, and that it is always listed as the bottom item, so it's always in the same location. ** Affects: ubuntu-ux Importance: Undecided Status: Invalid ** Affects: unity8 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Won't Fix -- [Apps] HUD quit missing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1242781 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
