I installed owncloud 5.0.10 from the archive on a new ec2 server running
Kubuntu 13.10 and uploaded some files.
I then upgraded to 5.0.12 packages from saucy-proposed and restarted
apache for good luck. On loading owncloud in a web browser it ran the
upgrading to 5.0.12 notice three times but

Backport updates to 5.0.12

I tried to backport it to raring, as usual there are many dependencies
which don't exist in raring so need removed with the 3rdparty files
included directly in the package. However when I did this it would not
let me get past the first page and register an account, it just gave a
blank page.
