So this bug has been fixed... in a way, in the latest release (8.10 ibex). What's happening there is that the module has been simply removed from the distribution, hereby implementing *complete* and systematic packet loss on the interface. :P I had to revert to an older installed kernel to keep

As far as I know, there are still issues with this driver, even on 8.04. I will check for this exact symptom but there's at least one that remains that I'm aware of: when anything bigger than a ACK is uploaded on the wifi card, the machine freezes completely. I will try to update this bug with
