Public bug reported:

Host: Ubuntu Precise amd64
Guest: Debian Sid alpha

While running debootstrap the second stage fails with multiple errors.
chrooting to the directory suggests the failures are due to qemu rather
than debootstrap.

$ sudo qemu-debootstrap --no-check-gpg --arch=alpha sid alpha

On i386:

# chroot alpha /debootstrap/debootstrap --second-stage
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

# chroot alpha
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

My guess is that the alpha stuff is very broken.
