at first the 0.6.35-0ubuntu6 seemed to resolve the problem. But after a reboot
gdm did not start. The problem could again be soved by downgrading
gir1.2-accountsservice-1.0. So the problem seems to be located in the gir
package.

I upgraded all the three packages to 0.6.35-0ubuntu6.
gdm and gnome-shell go back to normal now.
Maybe we can unregister this bug now.

last working versions were (but they are not longer available)
accountsservice (0.6.35-0ubuntu2)

The newest version of 'accountsservice' also makes gdm stop working.
