Samsung does not easily reveal what the latest BIOS is for this model, could
you please download the latest firmware software as per
http://www.samsung.com/in/support/model/NP535U3X-A01BD-downloads , and advise
if a
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

Amazingly,

The above pair of command works for the suspend/hibernate!
After executing it goes to suspend/hibernate and then after pressing
power button it successfully turns on back to its past state!

grub nomodeset option doesn't resolve this exact issue.

This script will attempt to suspend and resume your computer a number of times.
Should the machine fail to resume, first attempt to manually resume it. If
that fails power your system off and on which will generate an apport bug
