Hmm, that's odd. The AUTHORS-SHORT file does not appear in the
wireshark-common package I have on my system. Does removing the
wireshark packages, clearing your apt-cache, and reinstalling the
packages clear up the issue?
Also, why do you think this is lsb-related? I don't see any lsb issues
in

Hi,
It seems you tried to upgrade to the .debs built from wireshark upstream's
source from wireshark shipped by Ubuntu(/Debian).
It does not work, since upstream uses a different packaging scheme.

Upgrade:
If you would like to try packages built by upstream please remove all
wireshark binary packages shipped by Ubuntu(/Debian) first.
