workaround is to add

lost a lot of my settings. This required delving into dconf-

I used Cinnamon on freshly installed 13.04, but now I upgraded (do-
release-upgrade) to 13.10 and my experience is similar, after login
everything works until I open menu, then desktop freeze, except mouse
movements. Creating new accout doesn't help. I am using Intel(R) HD
Graphics 2500.
