Public bug reported:

Jitsi on AMD64 does not run.  It begins to run but then hangs before any
GUI pops up.  Attached is the output from "jitsi -d"

The last line of output that the program produces in debug mode is :

   at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.run(EventDispatchThread.java:91)

What should happen is that jitsi launches a GUI and allows making and
receiving calls.  This currently does not happen.
