Is anyone still experiencing this with Firefox version 3 or above? I
cannot confirm this with Firefox 3.6 on Jaunty. Please let us know

ok ... in the example above the problem shows if one marks www.ubuntu.com with
one whitespace after the m.
with leading whitespace there isn't a problem.
