care error message!?
(I was doing a distro upgrade - which did fire out warnings, but damn,
it worked great! Ubuntu Rocks!)

My patch below should fix all the issues above, including the Gutsy
firmware issues, but please let me know if it doesn't work for you.
Comments welcome. If any bugs, we can try something else, but this
works for me :-)

I'm still getting the same bug with Feisty. I was able to install the
package, but Synaptic is unhappy. Its still reporting the file as not
found.

When I told you just have to copy paste, I was speaking about the
restricted manager. When you use restricted manager to enable your
broadcom chipset, the manager asks if you want to download firmware from
an URL or from a file.
I proposed another URL but If you upgrade your Gutsy and try it

but what do you mean you just have to copy paste? Copy and paste
where? What are the exact steps to getting this configured?
