The num lock key (Fn + F2) does not work. (The num pad on this system is not isolated, it's a part of the QWERTY keyboard.) Steps: 1. Install 12.04.4, boot to desktop 2. Press any key on the num pad to make sure num lock is off. 3. Press the num lock key (Fn + F2 in this case) 4. Press any key on the num pad to see if num lock works. Expected result: * It should have output numbers after the num lock is on. Actual resutlt: * Output doesn't change. Num lock key seems not working. Debugging information: * With showkey or xev, the num lock key press/release events were correctly captured. Testing sequence in xev: 1. Press "J","K,"L" key (which is corresponds to 1,2,3) 2. Press the num lock key (Fn + F2) 3. Press "J","K,"L" key (which is corresponds to 1,2,3) again ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: linux-image-3.11.0-15-generic 3.11.0-15.25~precise1 [modified: boot/vmlinuz-3.11.0-15-generic] ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.11.0-15.25~precise1-generic 3.11.10 Uname: Linux 3.11.0-15-generic x86_64 AlsaVersion: Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version k3.11.0-15-generic.
