'skype' is no longer included in any currently supported release of
Ubuntu. I'm closing this as 'Invalid' in order to tidy up the
outstanding list of '100 Papercuts' bug reports.

Annelize, that is unrelated. You are trying to install Skype 32bit on a
64bit machine. Download Skype again and choose the right version for
your processor.
