Sigh, took me all day to work out that this is due to aufs not providing a filesystem ID - add any old fsid to the export options, e.g:
/mnt/omegafw_aufs_backup/ omega1(rw,sync,no_root_squash,no_subtree_check,fsid=1337) and suddenly it works! This is also mentioned in aufs' documentation: http://aufs.sourceforge.net/aufs3/man.html#Exporting%20Aufs%20via%20NFS Hopefully now when someone gets the 'qword_eol: fflush failed' useless error message they'll know what to do. ** Changed in: nfs-utils (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1280633 Title: Unable to export aufs mountpoint - qword_eol: fflush failed: errno 22 (Invalid argument) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nfs-utils/+bug/1280633/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
