I can reproduce this in 14.04 with unity 7.1.2+14.04.20131106.1-0ubuntu4
To reproduce:
1) Open the dash + search for the name of a control panel, e.g. "Sound" or
"Color"
Expected results:
1 application is shown in the search results
Actual results:
2 identical-looking applications are shown in
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.
