Have updated openoffice.org to 1:2.4.1-1ubuntu2. The bug still exists.
I'm using Kubuntu and starts OpenOffice from KDE, don't know how it works with
Gnome.
When I start ooimpress from the console, I receive this output when OOo
crashes:
error: duplicate REP tables used
Failure loading aff file
I cannot reproduce this problem on Ubuntu 8.04 i386 with openoffice.org
1:2.4.1-1ubuntu2? Can you make sure you have this version and see if you
still have this problem?
Thanks,
Chris
