Public bug reported: I've been trying to upgrade to the trusty alpha from my saucy system, and judging from the apt.log from the upgrade (attached) it's getting into a resolution loop trying to sort out tk vs tk8.5 package dependencies.
The unversioned tk dep is only dragged in because of some git tools: $ apt-get -s remove --purge tk NOTE: This is only a simulation!
