As lubuntu does not run a composite manager by default with a
transparent panel the desktop background showing through on the panel is
the expected behavior. If you want compositing in lubuntu you could
install a composite manager like compton for transparency but this would
make lubuntu heavier wh
I allredy know what is the problem. Lubuntu use the LXDE desktop
environment and the OpenBox windows manager. OpenBox does not support
"native" transparency.
