It all works. I simply haven't he layout icons in non-standard icon
theme. With the last update come an app, that can generate icons. So, I
think, the bug can be closed.

So, i found the problem.
New Indicator use icons to present the current keyboard layouts. So, if i use
other icon theme - there is no such icons. Thats why no indicator is shown.
Simple solution just copy /status/22/ keyboard icons into your theme folder.
But i think, it's a bad idea to use
Ambience.

Same issue, but at the beginning it works as expected. After some installations
(latex, gimp, inkscape, qt etc) is won't showing anymore. The process is there
(indicator-keyboard-service), the checkbox is on (in dconf too), but there is
no indicator.
Is there anywhrere a debug output?
