I had the same issue on Debian Jessie until I upgraded from version 4.3-11 to 4.3-11+b1 on amd64. This solved the issue! Changelog: bash (4.3-11+b1) sid; urgency=low, binary-only=yes * Binary-only non-maintainer upload for amd64; no source changes. * Rebuild against glibc 2.19-13 -- amd64
