I just read both of those bugs, its not the same issue and its still present in both x86 gutsy RC ubuntu and kubuntu and in amd64 RC bit both ubuntu and kubuntu. For some reason either the sata interface or the scsi interface is not reinitialized and it does not start up the drive because the line

I have wiped my system and installed gutsy tribe 5 with all updates and it still does the same thing. I would really appreciate it if someone takes a look at this. This is the only thing that is not supported on this laptop, even the built-in camera is supported. I love it if someone can fix it.
